2016 Olympic Trials: Discus (Golf)

OVERVIEW

I just got off the phone with Rio, and we (Team USA and the American people) are short discus throwers. Join me in frolfing at this year’s 539th Creekathon as we take up the torch for our national pride and personal livelihood.

the plan:
-arrive at Walnut Creek by 1:30 pm (I will already be there so join the main creekathon trip to carpool there)
-hit the links
-regain our national dignity and send a team to RIO 2016

what you need:
-discuses with which to frolf
-water and snacks in the event of extreme exhaustion from this strenuous activity
-any level of experience (from negative experience to Olympic gold medalist)
-your potluck item (A-D: beverages; E-K: appetizers, chips & other snacky things;L-R: fruit & veggies;S-Z: desserts)
-optional: gift for your fearless trip leader
