Lo and behold! Creekathon is upon us! In celebration of the weekend’s festivities, I propose A Walk in the Woods (c).
I did this last year, so I’ll give yall the quick deets. We’ll be hiking for about two hours around a loop known as Wilkin’s Way which is a short 4.3 mile stroll (hike) around Walnut Creek. The hike is mildly strenuous with some nice ups and downs through quiet paths in the backwoods, with some pleasant surprises along the way. My plan is to hike till hungry, then meet up with the rest of the group for food and slacklining!
Should be a nice time, but remember to bring some water and some sturdy shoeware! At the moment weather seems partly cloudy, but we’ll know better close to.
