I’m sorry about the extra email, I was figuring out how to delete the event!

ANYWAYS: The weather did not work out, so I am pushing back this week’s trip to next week in hopes of better weather!

Preference will be given to those that were on the last trip, in the order that they joined. IF YOU WERE NOT ON THE LAST TRIP, YOU MUST RECOGNIZE THAT OTHERS MIGHT GET ON IT BEFORE YOU, EVEN IF THEY JOIN IT AFTER YOU. Everyone will be automatically weight listed so I can figure it all out. If you were one of the 10 going this week, you will automatically have a spot. The trip will be capped at 10.

You haven’t learned quite what you are missing yet!! It’s time to start teaching you what it means to be a true mountain biking maniac. Have you even seen Zakey?! Who doesn’t want to be like that? The amazing flow and style that just can’t be competed with by ye two-footed walking types.

Who should join?
Little to no experience needed! The goal is to help you become more comfortable on a bike. If you are fairly proficient, but need those extra tips, I’m your guy.
If you haven’t ridden a bike since middle school, shame on you, but I’ll help you get back with it.
If you think you’re hot shit and just want to ride around while we are out there, you won’t get preference, but are welcome to join.
If you want to help instruct, you’re welcome too!

I can fit 5 people and bikes (including me) in my car. Preference will be given to people looking to get better/learn and people willing to teach. Additional drivers will allow you to get off the waitlist per usual.

We are going to Preddy Creek. You may have seen this listed before, it is only about 20 minutes outside of cville and has nice trails for beginners. There is a basic loop that we will be doing. It is 3.5 miles, but we can do it more than once if you are feeling super confident because it can go pretty fast.

LEAVING at 8:00 am be on time please
RETURNING at 11:00 am or whenever everybody is through riding
(We can pretty much leave whenever)

What to bring?
Bike (can get from the club)
Helmet (can get from the club)
1-2 Liters H2O
Gloves (recommended)
Snack (we may stop at bodos if you all are game)
A can-do attitude (VERY IMPORTANT)
A good joke
