Give the rocks some love: Let’s go to the Forest!
The Forest is one of the best outdoor bouldering locations around, with problems from V0-V6, but mostly 3’s. It is just hour’s drive west of C’ville, on the Parkway. If you have never climbed before I would love to introduce you to the crazy awesome world of rock, but *I do not have get room access*please have gear ahead of time or let me know if you need something! Also, I need some folks with experience to help. I can fit three others in my car. Hey drivers, you get gas reimbursed + a tip of appreciation: Join us. We’ll leave at 10am, climb a few hours and be back by 4pm.
Acutrements:
climbing specific shoes
chalk in a bag (if you have it)
1-2 L water
grub
crash pad, if you have one (I’ll bring a few)
