Chilly Chums Climb Chimney!

OVERVIEW

Say that five times fast! Or just join us on Saturday the 5th as we take on Calvary and Chimney Rocks Trail in the February chill. Bundle up for a moderate 3.2 mile out-and-back trail in Shenandoah National Park. Skyline Drive will close if it’s snowy or icy, so we’ll keep trip members updated if we need to postpone or otherwise change our plans.

Schedje:
9 am – Meet up at corner of Echols dorm and leave
10 am – Arrive at trailhead and start hiking (hope you brought layers!)
11:30 am – Get back to cars and head home
12:30 pm – Home sweet home!

What to bring:
– Water
– Snacks if you please
– Layers (it’ll start out real chilly but we’ll warm up as we go)
– Good hikin shoes
