Cold Mountain Day Hike

OVERVIEW

Looking for a way to recover from the hurricane this weekend? Sunday looks clear and dry, so let’s head out to Cold Mountain for a classic VA hike. It’s around 1.5 hours away, 6 miles / 3.5 hours long, and has great views of early fall.

I can drive up to 5 people and will expand the waitlist if we get another driver. We might have time to grab apples on the way back!

Things to bring:
— 2L water
— Lunch and plenty of snacks (we’ll stop by Bellaire Market on the way out)
— Jacket, pants recommended (it’s windy and 10 degrees cooler on top)
— Good shoes / boots
— Maybe suncreen / hat
