Fun Climbing Competition!

OVERVIEW

In the past, our club members have done very well in all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced W/M). So let’s do it again this year.
If you are a beginner or you haven’t participated in any comp yet I encourage you to sign up. You get a full day of climbing plus lunch. so even if you don’t win anything you definitely make the most of the 15$ you pay. This is a college competition and is not as serious as you may think.

If you register by Feb 7th and give me the 15$ I will pre-register for you. Otherwise the fee is 20$ on the day of the competition.make sure to bring cash or check if you want to register then.

The format for the competition is as follows
-Bouldering in the morning. You can climb as many bouldering routes as you want but I believe only the top five will count. You will get more points for flashing a bouldering problem than if you have to work it.(comment from Aarash to members: bouldering problems should be small climbing sort of moves and normally easy)

-After lunch, which we are providing, will be the top rope part of the competition. Their will be beginner, intermediate and advanced routes. You will start at your level and move up as you complete each route. We will also have an eliminator route at the end to determine the winners.

-There are three categories, Beginner, intermediate and advanced.

-Just to answer the last question, the scores from bouldering
and climbing will be combined.
