Halloweekend hike & picnic at Cole Mountain

OVERVIEW

Hellooooo again everyone!!! If you can’t tell I am a picnic lover so I thought why not plan another picnic hike?? This time we’ll be heading to Cole Mountain which has a very lovely meadow 🙂 the loop is ~6 miles but not super strenuous so hikers of all abilities are welcome. PS: I know this is Halloweekend so I’m having us start & get back early because trust me, I am absolutely planning on going out that night 😉

Our schedule!!!!
8:15: meet @ the corner of Echols & stop by Bodos or Starbucks to grab brekkie
10:30 or so: pull up & start our hike
It should take us about 2.5-3 hours to do the hike, plus 45 minutes to enjoy our picnic lunch and hang out atop the mountain, so we should be done by 2:15
2:15: start the drive back to cville
4:15: back in cville with plenty of time to prepare for spooky activities/parties/etc that evening

What you need!
– Layers!! Late October is chilly but we will def warm up while hiking
– Hikin boots
– Snacks for our picnic 🙂 I will bring beverages (sparkling lemonade for legal reasons) for us to share so you only need to worry abt food
– A blanket to sit on if you want
– Plenty of water
– A good attitude

Drivers needed!!!
I have a car that can take 4 people, so we need 1 more driver!! You will be reimbursed for gas PLUS get priority off the waitlist AND get a 50% tip, how nice is that??
