Hawksbill Hike-y Hike to the Summit at Sunset (take 2)

OVERVIEW

The website disliked me increasing the number of people to the trip but do not fret Hawksbill Hike-y Hike to the Summit is still happening…Take 2

Because one trip to Hawksbill Summit clearly is not enough! If what you need after a long week of work is an easy hike to Hawksbill Summit followed by watching the sunset across Shenandoah then this is definitely the trip for you…

Plan:
Meet at Echols Corner at 4pm
Arrive at Hawksbill Gap Parking Area around 6pm (hopefully a bit earlier)
Hike-y hike to the top of Hawksbill summit which is roughly 2.5km (or 1.9 miles lol coz americans don’t kilometre)
Arrive at Hawksbill Summit and watch the sunset over these beautiful lands at around 7.30pm
Head back to the car park after the sun has set and head back to Echols for roughly 9.30/10pm (fear not you will still be able to make any Saturday night plans !)

What to bring:
Yourselves
Food, snacks and water to have as we watch the sunset
You will need a headlight because we will be hiking back in the dark so please pick one up from the gear room beforehand
Some good hiking shoes and a backpack to put any things you want in it
Some money for a National Park pass if you do not have one
And obvs good vibes are necessary

Driver needed!!! Drivers will get priority off the waitlist and if you have a National Park pass you will also get priority
