Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
White Oak Canyon Trail
In all the years I’ve lived in C-ville, I still havent been on this highly popular trail. Supposedly it has the best waterfalls in Shanendoah, and shouldn’t be missed. SO before I leave C-ville forever, come enjoy some views and company this friday!
Heres a blurb from online:
Waterfalls, waterfalls, waterfalls! This has to be the most spectacular waterfall hike in Shenandoah National Park. With three sets of falls on the way up White Oak Canyon and three smaller falls heading down Cedar Run, this circuit is among the mid-Atlantic’s most popular.
The hike is about 8 miles, with a lot of uphill (but no fear, you will be hiking with me, so that means frequent breath-catching and a niice long lunch break, maybe frolicking).
What to bring:
-camelback, waterbottles, whatever your style (atleast 2 litres)
-lunch and a snack or two
-sunscreen
-bathingsuit (just in case)
-sneakers/trail runners/boots
-awesomeness
Club provides:
-sweet ride + gas
