Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door

Title creds to Burke Haywood, the secondary mate for this journey.
Since we don’t want to wake up at an ungodly hour, we’re just going to do the shorter section (2.2 miles round-trip) of this loop trail to get to Glass Hollow Overlook for the sunrise!
Plan:
5:15- Leave from Echols- please be on time!
6:15- get to parking lot, hike
7 am- sunrise
7:30ish head back, should be back at Echols by 8:45
Bring: Water, snacks, shoes, headlamp
Drivers needed! Will be given priority off waitlist and club reimburses gas+50% tip!
!!NOTE!! The section of the parkway we will need to drive on is closed right now due to Florence. The website says it should be cleared by Thursday, but we will send out an email Wednesday letting you know whether or not we’ll be able to go!
