Humpback Sunrise lol

OVERVIEW

Trip is subject to cancellation due to status of Blue Ridge Parkway***

Hike to see the sunrise at Humpback! Haven’t been this semester so lez do it.

~ Here’s the plan ~
– Meet at Lambeth at 5:50 am (this is where I live, if you need to b picked up let me know beforehand and I can help you out).
– Leave Lambeth NO LATER THAN 5:55 am
– Get to trailhead around 6:40 am
– 30 to 40ish minute hike up depending on how fast you hike
– 7:21am watch the sunrise over the mountain
– 7:30 hike back to the cars
– 7:55 am depart trailhead and arrive back to Charlottesville around 8:40, just in time for 9:00 ams

~ You will need ~
1-2L of water
A headlamp or flashlight (headlamp strongly encouraged)
Snacks if you want those
LAYERS bc it will be pretty cold out. Really cold
Sturdy shoes

~ Drivers ~
– We love and need your (car) driving ability!
– Club pays for gas + 50% tip! (must have a full tank when we leave)
