I need to get in a boat and paddle something. My plan is to daytrip WV Saturday, and boogey back for some celebrations in cville or possibly a film premier in Lynchburg. The options are pretty open. On the intermediate side of paddling, there is the NRG (III-IV), Lower Gauley (IV) and Middle Fork (III-IV). Or we can step, things up if I find a crew, and hit the Lower Big Sandy, Cheat Canyon, or Upper Gauley. Let me know your preference.
If you think you can handle the NRG then sign up for this trip and I will assess your skill level before I decide on which river to paddle.
I am NOT “leading” on any of these sections, I am only coordinating some logistics and transportation to the rivers, you are responsible for your own safety and the activities you choose to participate in while on this trip, and you agree to have read and will abide by the American Whitewater Safety Code http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Wiki/safety:start?
