Let’s spend all day in a tree!!

OVERVIEW

A little context. we are going to rig a slackline up on a couple of trees at Copeley Hill on Saturday at 10 am (We will be attach to the line we are not crazy). The mission is to use ropes to climb the trees and once up there we’ll rig the line and set a couple of hammocks to make our small camp. Climbing the trees is fun and simple, all you need is a harness a grigri and a small rope to make a pedal (with a prusik or a marshal knot). If you want to just climb the trees and lay on a hammock you are still welcome to join, and if you want to try the slackline but don’t have much experience then don’t worry this will be a short line so it’s beginner friendly and we will set a second line higher up as an aid like in this picture https://arborhilllandscaping.com/is-slacklining-bad-for-trees/

All you need to bring is a harness, but if you have a hammock and a PAS please bring it too.
