Meadow Creek Cleanup- Sunday 11/6

OVERVIEW

Help keep UVA clean and give back!! As part of a global sustainability project about stormwater awareness and what UVA does to help reduce water pollution, there will be a stream cleanup on Sunday 11/6 at 10am here on grounds!! We will be picking up trash in Meadow Creek, which runs by Lambeth, JPA, and Copely, before it travels any farther downstream. We will be meeting at Lambeth Field at 10. Wear long pants and closed toed shoes (waterproof boots would be helpful) that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Trash pickers, gloves, and garbage bags will be provided. THERE WILL ALSO BE FREE BODOS AFTER FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS.
