O-Hill Cleanup Trip

OVERVIEW

Howdy folks,

Are you a fan of the great trail network on the world famous Observatory Hill? Have you been hiking, biking, or kayaking on these trails lately? If you answered yes to one of these, then this trip may be for you!

The last few times I’ve been up here, I noticed a ton of trash alongside one of the trails (to be specific, it is the jump trail). Old bottles and cans cover the side of a hill, and not only is it an eye sore, this trash needs to be properly picked up and disposed of (or recycled).

What’s the plan?
-meet at Echols brick wall at 9am
-head up to the site of the incident
-fill as many trash bags as possible
-head out and grab some food on the corner ON THE CLUB! $7 Food allotment for each participant!
-go our separate ways by 10:30-11am at the latest so we can make it to class/life

What you need:
-sturdy shoes
-water
-positive attitude
-work gloves if you want them

I’ll bring the trash bags!
