Seize the Dough: Humpback Sunrise — With cookies!

OVERVIEW

It has been said many a time that making cookies “isn’t outdoorsy” and “doesn’t count as a trip.” No more! Join me in breaking barriers and making cookies (dough)** on humpback as we watch the sunrise. I will also bring Oreos for people who can’t have the cookies we make. When you join this trip, I will venmo request you $3 and then if you drop the trip I’ll refund the money you spent.

~~ Here’s The Plan ~~
5:40 Meet at Echols
5:45 Divvy the goods and depart for the peaks
6:25 Arrive at Humpback and begin the climb
7:10 (ish) reach the summit
7:15 mix up the cookies
7:30 smile at the sun while we eat our cookie dough
7:45 head back down
8:15 (ish) arrive back at the cars
8:55 back in Cville with plenty of time for 9:30 classes

~~ You will need ~~
– A day pack to carry some of the cookie ingredients (teamwork makes the dream work!!)
– Sturdy shoes
– A ***headlamp*** (seriously, you need one)
– l a y e r s
– A blanket if you’re about that life
– 1-2L of water
– A hot drink if you so desire
– $3 to help pay for cookie ingredients and Oreos (you may not have to pay the whole $3, I’ll set the official price once everyone signs up but this is an upper limit)

– Cookie ingredients
– Oreos
– A mixing bowl and spoon
– a stove for melting butter (or pre-melted butter)

The cookie recipe I’ll be using contains
– Flour
– Baking soda
– Salt
– Sugar (brown and white)
– Butter
– Vanilla
– Egg
