OVERVIEW

Why hellooo, my trail comrades!!!! Gregorian calendar says it’s 2022 aka THE YEAR OF THE TRAIL BIRTHING.

Oh yeah, we back and juicier than ever with love, spice, snow dust, and this time…SAWS!! Our beloved Preddy Creek Trails are filled with downed trees after the snow, so we gonna get out there Saturday morning with our CAMBC (Charlottesville Area Mountain Biking Club) buds and CLEAR!! THOSE!! TRAILS!!!

We’ll have crews of 2-3 moving down the trail, trading off sawing / clearing / trail essence-ing jobs. We’ll be driving to our wondrous Preddy destination, so anyone with an automobile gets first dibs off the waitlist!!!!!! Also, if you happen to possess a saw that wants to see the world, bring ‘er along!!

I’m so excited to be back giving our local trails some love, and I know our CAMBC friends are too. So let’s go drink up this wondrous winter Cville and BECOME ONE WITH THE TRAIL.

Here are the full deets:
8:20 AM — converge @ corner of Echols dorm, ponder our birthing stories
9 – 11:30 — PREDDY ADVENTURES SAW SAW HELLO TREES YOU SO BEAUTIFUL WE LOVE YOU TRAILS
11:30 — meander on back, oohhhh stop at Bodo’s so yum so nice
High noon — embark upon our days of Satur with seedlings of love, hope, and tree spice in our hearts and souls

CLOTHINGS:
1. Dress in lots o layers, as it may get cheeeley but we’ll warm up as we walk. Gloves are nice, also closed toed foot coverings!
2. Bring yo mask aka secondary underwear for the car
3. Maybe bring water or snackie if you want, kinda like clothes for your stomach
4. I think ODC trail crew is so cool we need our own t-shirts / clothes so mayhaps we gather all the downed limbs and weave them into one giant shirt???
