Sunday Morning Sun Worship ** Cancelled Due to Weather **

**disclaimer ik Sunday is Easter but when I say worship I just mean we r gonna be loving and appreciating the sun, this is not a religious trip but make of it what you will lolz**

Hello, it me. I haven’t lead a trip in a hot sec so what better way to redeem myself by getting up too early to crawl up some rocks?

It’s FINALLY starting to feel like Spring and the sunrise isn’t at too brutal of an hour! Join me in celebrating this by making the relatively short drive and more than relatively steep hike up Humpback! For those of you who have not hiked Humpback (do those people still exist?), Humpback is a little less than a mile so it’s super short, but is almost entirely straight uphill. I die every time and hate myself a little each time I do it, but the views are SO worth it, especially for sunrise! Even if you are a potato like me, it won’t take more than 40 minutes to get up to the top.

Logistics:
-Leave Echols NO LATER THAN 5:25 am
-Get to trailhead around 6:00, maybe 6:05
-30 to 40ish minute hike up depending on how fast you hike
-6:59 am = dat sunrise <3 -7:10 am hike back down to the cars -7:30 am depart trailhead and arrive back to Charlottesville around 8! PLZ BRING: -H2O (it's 2018 we staying hydrated) -LAYERS!! It will probably be around 40 degrees, if not colder, at the top. Sad, ik. -Sturdy shoes!!!! -Source of light such as a headlamp or angler fish -Snacks/breakfast -Musical instrument if u so desire -Your cute granola self I NEED DRIVERS PLZ!!!
