Happy Monday! Let’s head up to Blackrock Summit for some colors at sunset! Blackrock is a quick, 1-mile hike with some rocks to climb up/play on at the end. We can make the quick jaunt up to the summit, play on the rocks for a bit, and enjoy some fresh air and friendship.
Schedule:
5:30 – Leave Echols
6:30 – Arrive at trailhead and start hiking
7:00 – Arrive at summit, play on rocks, watch sun start setting
7:30 – Sunset and start hiking back to car
8:45 – Back at Echols
Recommended gear:
Headlamp (we will be hiking back in the dark)
Water
Comfy hiking clothes
Jacket/blanket in case it gets cold
Snack/breakfast
