Sunset Hike at Bearfence Mountain

OVERVIEW

Hello, my beautiful ODC!!! It is I, Victor, an obsolete officer from an era gone by (2019 grad) back in town to pass on ancient knowledge and reinvigorate myself with your youthful presence!

Are you being “responsible” and using your reading days to actually study? Are you feeling left out of all the oudoorsy shenanigans and long weekend trips? Fear not! We will fit in a quick study break sunset hike to scratch that outdoorsing itch and get you back in time to finish studying for that Chem midterm.

We’ll be heading up to one of my favorite sunset spots: Bearfence Mountain. It’s a quick, 1-mile hike with a nice baby rock scramble. If you like Old Rag (or if you’ve been too busy/scared to try Old Rag), this is a great one!

Schedule:
5:30 – Leave Echols
6:30 – Arrive at Trailhead
7:00 – Watch Sunset
8:00 – Back at Car
9:00 – Back at Echols

Comfy hiking clothes/jacket in case it gets cold
