Even though it’s cooled down a little bit, climbing at peak also means avoiding the humidity (and probably wet rock at many places).
Let’s plan to leave at 5:30 from Echols, stay till close, get Sheetz, and get back to Charlottesville around 11:30.
The entrance fee is $9.00 if we have a group of 5 or more. Club covers gas costs.
Bring the climbing gear you have. If you need gear, we can get into the gear room before the trip (come early), or there may be a gear room before Thursday.
