Tree Planting!!! YAY TREES🌳

OVERVIEW

I love trees. I KNOW you love trees. Wouldn’t you like to see more of them? YES! Yes you would!

The Rivanna Conservation Alliance is a nonprofit watershed organization that helps keep the Rivanna River healthy. As part of their Rivanna River Forest Health and Resilience Project, they plan to plant a total of 600 trees across 3 city and county parks along the urban section of the Rivanna River. Join me in helping them reach this goal!

On April 6th they will be hosting a workday at Darden Towe Park. There is no experience or knowledge required to participate– they will start with a demo before putting us to work.

Schedy:
12:30– Meet at Echols
1:00– Arrive and start planting!
3ish– Finish up and head on back
3:30– Part ways at Echols and celebrate a job well done

What to bring:
– Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
– Water
– Snacks if you want them (they will also be supplying some)
– STOKE! LOTS OF STOKE
