Triple Crown!!

OVERVIEW

Dear club,

This weekend marks the third and final event in the Triple Crown Bouldering Series, which will be held at Stonefort, in Chattanooga Tennessee.

The Triple Crown is one of the biggest, baddest, most awesome bouldering competition circuits around, with tons of prizes, energy, and psyche. The first two competitions in the triple crown drew around 300 people each, and this final comp will have somewhere around 400 competitors. It is guaranteed fun.

Stonefort is one of the premier bouldering areas in the southeast. It has amazing boulder problems from v0 to v12 and harder… and the triple crown competition has categories for beginners, intermediates, advanced, and open climbers, plus other fun categories. This means that whatever level you climb, you have a decent chance at winning some schwag, and you WILL have fun.

If you are interested in this trip, you must sign up for the competition by thursday at the latest. The fee is $50.

We will be driving down friday evening, staying in a hotel friday night, and then camping out saturday. Sunday, we will drive back to charlottesville.

If more than 4 people want to come, we’ll need another car. I’m waitlisting everybody to start, to make sure everybody knows what is involved.
