Turk Mountain
Kick off fall break with a hike!
Turk Mountain is a 10.4 mile circuit hike in Shenandoah National Park just north of Waynesboro. The hike will be moderately strenuous with about 2400 feet for elevation gain. Its only about a 40 minute drive away. Come out and enjoy the best of the weather before it gets cold!
What to bring:
– SNP Park pass if you have one (if not, no biggie)
– Sturdy shoes
– at least 2L of water
– light jacket (forecast predicts a low of 45 degrees Saturday)
– lunch/snacks
– humorous anecdotes
Side Note: After we return to Cville I will be driving home to Leesburg, VA so if anybody needs a ride there or somewhere along the way I’d be happy to provide one
