Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Westminster Canterbury Of The Blue Ridge
Dawn Kirk, a fisheries biologist with of the US Forest Service will be the guest speaker at this event (I understand the event consists almost entirely of the talk). Dawn will discuss the restoration/ re liming work on two Augusta County streams, the North River and the St. Mary’s River.
If you’re at all interested in the ecology of mountain streams in Virginia, especially as it pertains to fish populations, I think this will be an interesting talk.
We’ll meet at Echols at 6pm, drive across to Pantops, where the talk is, listen, ask questions, and chat with the town fishermen. (There’ll be plenty of organizations there, especially TJTU, our local chapter of Trout Unlimited).
More info to come as I obtain it.
