Waterfall Hike in Snp

OVERVIEW

Saturday is the most comfortable day we’ll see for the next week, so let’s spend it out in the magnificent Shenandoah National Park! We’ll hit up Jones Run and hike to the sounds of Doyles River. There will be many waterfalls and small swimming holes to help us beat the heat.

We’ll set off around 9:30am from the brick wall at Echols dorm and hit the trail by 10:30am. It should take us about 3 and a half hours to hike the loop, which is fairly flat. For more details an a few pics, see http://www.hikingupward.com/SNP/JonesRunDoylesRiver/.

You bring: Shenandoah National Park Pass, if you have one (reimbursable), lunch, rain gear, towel, H20, and a car (gas is reimbursable)

Note: I can only seat two but will open more spots as drivers sign up for the trip. Because I already own one park pass, there is no fee for this trip.
