Summer is almost here and you may meet people who don’t know how outdoorsy you are and how you are a member of OUTDOORS CLUB at UVA. They may not know how you dance barefoot at a place called the Shrack or how you press flowers in the gardens or how you can roll a kayak. If your sticker-covered nalgene isn’t doing it these days then you may need the ultimate outdoorsy bat signal… your very own coal-burned, hand-sanded, lovingly-carved wooden spoon. Yes, this spoon is not only a spoon, but a status symbol, a talisman, a reminder of your time here imbued with the flavor of bonfires and bark. Join me and Evelyn as a part of her epic Weekly Wander series tomorrow night before the bonfire at 5:15pm.
