Let’s go kayak something…
The destination & experience level shall depend on who signs up and whats running. For a beginner level trip I’ll need some backup from other advanced boaters and cooperation from weather/rivers. Also need at least 1 driver – preferably with a big (roof) rack!
Everyone must have taken an intro course from Dave Clark or someone else. The air and water are not looking exceptionally warm – so those that get cold easily may want to skip this trip.
A roll would also be good to have if we end up doing an intermediate/advanced run.
Everyone gets waitlisted till I screen your experience and determine where we’re going.
I am NOT “leading” on this adventure, I am only coordinating some logistics and transportation to the adventure destination, you are responsible for your own safety and the activities you choose to participate in while on this trip, and you agree to have read and will abide by the American Whitewater Safety Code http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Wiki/safety:start?
Those with the appropriate skills may join as “Common Adventurers”
**Please note that the trip may be canceled due to water level, weather, or changing plans.
I put 1030 – 8 PM for now. I’ll possibly revise the time window when I determine where we’re going, but we’ll probably be back sooner than 8.
