Monticello Trail/Boardwalk Parking
The Monticello boardwalk trail is one of the better places near C’ville for identifying edible and medicinal wild plants and offers a nice view over the city. If you’d like to identify and pick a few plants to spice up a spring salad or use for first aid while out hiking this might be the adventure for you! Everything we will identify is something that I have personally tested and learned from classes with professionals in the fields of outdoors survival skills and herbal medicine. We’ll also identify poison ivy and nature’s antidote to it.
Please bring water to drink if it’s hot and a bag to pick plants if you want to take some home.
