You’ve hiked humpback… but have you hiked it in the dark without shoes??

Feeling brave, calloused, and nocturnal? Want to start breaking in your summer shoes as the sun descends into the night? Want to do it with friends!?

Join Cam & I on a barefoot adventure to our glorious Humpback Rock to appreciate the sunset! Since it’s a short hike, we figured it’d be a great one to try without shoes as we enter the warmer months aka barefoot season! The game plan is as follows:
6:30 pm – meet at echols to pile in cars and head over to humpback!
7:00 pm – arrive at trailhead and begin the ascent!
8 pm – make it to the top!! And wait for the sun to rain down into beautiful oranges and reds
8:03 pm – sunset!!!! We can chill and talk after it darkens or head back!
9:00 pm – arrive back to trailhead and begin the drive back to grounds
9:45 pm – all dropped off and ready to rumble with other night time shenanigans!!

What to bring:
– Snack and water to enjoy if you desire!
– Shoes in case your feets get sore 🙁
– A headlamp/lightsource if you’re worried about hiking in the dark
– An appreciation for the sunset <3
– Any luxury items you desire!!
