Trees and Sprouts!

This ODC’s version of Big and Little, except so much better because instead you are a little sprout. And your tree will give you shade and water you and advise you through the treacherous perils of growing old in this world. And then one day your tree will die (graduate) and you will grow larger than the tree and raise your own trees.

Officer Meeting Notes: notes 10-5-25

Story of the Week

Once upon a time there was a boy, named Max Ellis. He enjoyed a variety of items in this world, including but not limited to water, gatorade, chocolate pea milk, and legumes. One day Max Ellis said to himself, “how can I combine these items.” So he whirled and he twirled and he cartwheeled into the kitchen, concussing everyone except Reginald. Reginald, not to be excluded, ran into the kitchen and screamed “GOSH DARN IT MAX YOU ALWAYS LEAVE ME OUT!!!” As Max is exemplary of the inclusivity of this club, he picked up the pan directly to his left and beat Reginald over the head. Reginald, smiling that he was included in the fun, stumbled away. Turning around, Max grabbed all his ingredients and passionately chucked them into the pot; “a little legumes, a little gatorade, a little bit of this and a little bit of that.” It started boiling and bubbling and bursting from the pot and eventually a very tall, legume related, beanstalk esque plant shot into the sky. I cannot finish the story due to copyright reasons but it is essentially Jack and the beanstock. There are some minor details that explain why we call him Mellis, but I cannot tell you due to the Non Disclosure Agreement that Max signed with the [redacted].
