Climbing at Nelson Rocks

OVERVIEW

Are you joining Rick’s Via Ferrata trip? If so, why not spend Saturday warming up on some of the sport climbing routes in the area. Nelson Rocks is host to a plentitude of sport and traditional climbing. Although this trip will mostly involve sport climbing, I’ll be more than happy to lead a few folk up some trad lines if time permits. We’ll stay at the Seneca Rocks campsite, be merry, and return to Nelson Rocks in the morning. There’ll be more climbing on Sunday. You should be able to climb a 5.7, blindfolded, while chewing gum. If you can’t, no worries, come along anyway, its a beautiful area and it’ll be fun regardless!

Cost: $5 for entrance to Nelson Rocks, plus some $$ for food & drinks. The club will pay for gas and camping.
