OVERVIEW

In honor of the changing seasons and the coming of the delightful brisk fall air–I propose a camping trip to the outerbanks (an awesome area on the atlantic ocean, if you’ve never been) of North Carolina for some fresh ocean air and quality outdoor time in the fine company of fellow outdoors club members and a bountiful array of fall activities.

We’ll rock out on saturday morning to Oregon Inlet which is just south of Kitty Hawk (a booming beach metropolis) and we’ll camp at a national seashore designated camp area for saturday and sunday evening. We can take the oppurtunity to grill delicious amounts of food and our days can be filled with sunshine and a variety of other activies according to what you prefer…I was thinking road biking, running, sea kayaking, hiking….and depending on the water…swimming…reading, bocce ball…

Overall its an oppurtunity to unwind and let your lungs enjoy the clean air of the outdoors we all crave so much. You can also make some new friends. Jockey’s Ridge, Cape Hatteras, and Oracroke Island are some really cool places to check out while we are there!

what you’ll need:
-sleeping bag
-sleeping pad
-eating utensils and bowl
-clothes
-rain gear
-bocce ball and frisbees

the club will pay for gas and some food expenses, you may want to bring money for going out to dinner saturday night and goodies along the way.
