Have you ever wondered how to pitch a tent, pack it, clean it, find a good location for it….?
This workshop is recommneded if you intend to do backpacking, lead club trips, borrow club tents or to buy your own tent.
We will quickly go over tents and differences like 2/3/4..people, symmetric/unsymmetric, light tents/ 3 season/ 4 season/ expedition tents and after talking about principles we will divide in groups and pitch the club tents. you are welcome to bring your own tent or tarp and show others how to pitch it. hopefully everybody will find a chance to pitch and pack 2-3 tents.
We can join other people on the Walnut Creekathon trip for free BBQ…
