Sugar Hollow
The trail along the Moorman’s River at Sugar Hollow heads up to a beautiful small waterfall and offers many opportunities to pick blackberries and raspberries and passes by a refreshing swimming hole that’s usually not as crowded as Blue Hole. We will hike up to the waterfall and stop to swim on the way back. Please bring:
-at least 1 liter of water, preferably more.
-bug repellent
-good walking or hiking shoes
-swimsuit and towel if you want to swim
-snacks
You might also want to have a bag for picking berries. The trip is about 4 to 5 miles long and the terrain rocky at times with several creek crossings with enclosed views of steep mountain slopes. I will expand the adventure as drivers sign up.
The club provides a seat in a car and gas money for carpooling.
