Clean the Creek; Protect the Chesapeake

Do you hate pollution? Do you feel a yearning to prevent trash from reaching the nation’s largest estuary? Join us at the Meadow Creek Watershed Cleanup on December 12 to help keep the Chesapeake Bay trash-free.
Take a break from studying for exams and churning out those final papers! This is a great opportunity to volunteer with The Nature Conservancy and clean up your local corner of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. As always, sustenance will be provided in the form of made-to-order bagels from Charlottesville’s finest eatery, Bodo’s Bagels. Attending a service trip also counts towards getting your dues reimbursed, so if you’re trying to earn back those dues before buying your last-minute Christmas gifts, then this is the trip for you!
