Intermediate White Water Kayaking – the James River Through Downtown Richmond

OVERVIEW

Join me for an intermediate kayaking trip through downtown Richmond…hopefully. As of now the river level is borderline which means that I’ll have to abort mission if we don’t get mucho rain within the next few days so get on out there and rock your favorite rain dance!

I will already be in Richmond paddling the section above this one (class 1-2) so will coordinate to meet you at the put-in for the lower run. The start time for this adventure is the time that you should leave C’ville to meet me at the Reedy Creek put-in. I can coordinate carpooling.

Everyone gets waitlisted upon joining so that I can screen your skills.

The Club Provides: Boats, skirts, helmets/noseplugs, paddles, pfds, boat transportation if appropriate, gas money.

You should bring: your boat, essential gear, swimwear, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, water, snacks, money for food after the trip
