Kayaking (Whitewater)

This is a really advanced Kayaking trip to the Upper Yough, MD and possibly Upper Gauley, WV. The common adventurers that will be furthest downstream on these rivers are looking for a low stress express trip down the river, hence this will not be a first timer UY trip, and previous runs will be needed.
TIMES/PLAN
Upper Yough on Saturday is the only definite plan… My crystal ball says that some in the group will be daytriping, others may look to continue paddling on Sunday & Monday… If there’s promise of natural flow in the greater UY area we may stay there and run things of similar difficulty, else relocate to the Gauley.
The Departure time indicated is the time we’ll be leaving Saturday Morning, return time is a rough guestimate.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Everyone gets waitlisted till I screen your skills, which should include: Reliable combat roll and/or stellar bracing/leaning skills such that you don’t have to roll.
FOOD:
I’m not planning to do much group food shopping, and we’ll likely be eating out all dinners. But if anyone feels compelled to shop for themselves, by all means do so and save receipts.
CAMPING:
We’ll camp somewhere, bring extra $ for possible camp fees
Club Provides: Boats & Gear if you need them, Ga$, Camping Gear
You Provide: Any paddling and camping gear you already have, rain dances (and rain gear). Bring your own Dinner or $ to procure it.
