Friday-Saturday New River Gorge, Beg/Intermediate

OVERVIEW

Feeling like pulling on some NRG rock but not feeling like you got a lot of time?

We’re heading west friday evening at 5:45, climbing all saturday. Leaving the gorge in the evening and coming back Saturday night. If the weather’s bad, Rico’s dry!

Thinking about hitting up summersville but that’s all negotiable

This is for Beg. who know how to belay and intermediates! If you need gear, come by echols early at around 5:15 and we can hook you up.

Camp at Rays, per usual.
Bring– everything you would think to bring:
money for dinner Friday
Warm clothes, tent, sleeping bag and pad, SOCKS, rain jacket, at least a full nalgene of water, backpack, approach shoes, some snacks, headlamp or flashlight, your climbing gear (harness, shoes, chalk, grigri and/or atc and anything else you want to use)

We got you covered on:
Saturday breakfast and lunch, stoves, gas, and extra climbing gear (i.e. ropes, draws, etc).
