*****DUE TO WEATHER, TRIP HAS CHANGED TO JANUARY 5TH…ITS SUPPOSED TO BE SUNNY AND WARM…*****
Heading to Franklin WVA, Riversbend crag on thursday to climb some wonderful blue and white limestone as opposed to sandstone / limestone of the main area. The easiest route at the bend is 5.9…so must limit the trip to persons who can climb 5.9 cleanly…plan on leaving around 8, be on the rock by 9. home by 7:30. As this is a day trip, club will pick up gas, you must provide food and water. If you need gear, make sure to visit the gear room….
2 options to get across the river…wear shorts and tevas (knee deep water but cold) or take the tyrolean…its up to you
