OVERVIEW

Whether you’ve climbed before or want to learn for the first time, this trip could be for you. Manchester Bridge offers a wide range of difficulties (5.4 – 5.11) and also has routes for top rope, sport, and even trad. For this trip, I suspect we’ll mainly top rope, but for those with climbing experience, there is a well protected sport climb that is a great first lead.

How much lead belaying & lead climbing that will take place will depend on (1) having at least one other experienced lead climber/belayer, and (2) the ability and comfort of those wishing to learn.

You can find information on the routes at Manchester Bridge in two places:
(1) http://www.mountainproject.com/v/manchester-wall/106006682
