Beginner/Intermediate Rock Climbing at Goshen, Va

OVERVIEW

===Beginner/Intermediate Rock Climbing===
This Sunday come climb at Goshen Pass, WV!

There are a number of interesting climbs here with a solid range of difficulties. There is a pretty short hike into the climbs, and a traverse over a river on a swinging bridge (which is enjoyable to shake ;)).

Goshen is about an hour and twenty minutes away from UVA, but well worth the drive.

I’m keeping the group pretty small (5 people) for the sake of speed and so everyone gets a good amount of time climbing. All skill levels are welcome, with a slight preference towards those people with some minimum exposure to climbing/belaying.

Finally: at the moment, the weather’s not looking the best, with scattered T-storms and a 40% chance of rain, so this trip is subject to change as conditions further develop, yet in the mean-time, the plan is to go if the rain continues to be light, and just bring sturdy rain jackets!

So last couple of things:
-Please bring a couple water bottles or Nalgenes,
-Any rock climbing gear you may have,
-Snacks and a rain jacket (there will be opportunities to get food on the way out of Charlottesville)
-A positive attitude for if it rains!

The club get’s the gas money, and provide rock climbing gear if you need it.
