Intro Kayaking

OVERVIEW

So Sunday is Creekathon, so sounds like a great time to learn some stuff about kayaking before an awesome picnic lunch!

This is just purely a teaching trip, and we will be going over important basic skills of kayaking such as strokes, wet exits, t-rescues, and perhaps some rolling in the lake at Walnut Creek Park.

My car can only fit three plus myself with all the gear so until another driver signs up, three is gonna be the limit. We will leave Echols around 9ish and I will be heading back to school shortly after lunch, however you are welcome to continue to hang out at the park, there should be plenty of rides returning to UVa.

The club will provide all kayaking gear you could ever need,
You should bring:
Water
Swimming apparel
Change of Clothes
