Come out this Sunday afternoon for an intro to whitewater kayaking clinic! If you wanted to go on Hannah’s trip on Saturday but couldn’t make the time or are unable to get off of the waitlist, this Sunday is the perfect day to spend a few hours working on your kayaking skills. We will be going over basic strokes, wet exits, and beginner rolling. Before we start wet exits or rolling, everyone will have a chance to get comfortable in their boats and paddle around.
This is a beginner course so no experience is needed. I will have all of the gear for you guys (kayak, skirt, paddle, nose plugs) so don’t worry if you do not have any of your own gear.
Everyone will be automatically waitlisted due to lack of room/cars to carry boats, but if you have a car that can hold boats please indicate that!
We will be meeting by Echols dorm at 3 and we should be back around 6. Bring a water bottle/sunscreen/swim suit/any snacks you might want.
