OVERVIEW

I don’t think I need to hype the Red very much. It’s the biggest climbing area on the East Coast with everything from steep sport routes, splitter cracks, techy slab climbs, to off-widths!!!

We will stay at Miguel’s Pizza. It’s probably the best climber’s hangout in the East! I has great food (their pizza and breakfast burritos are pretty boss), $2 camping, showers (not that you need them), free wifi, a basketball court, hang boards, a climbing gear shop, and most importantly a nearly endless supply of Ale-81.

From Miguel’s we will head out to go climbing. If multiple car loads of people make the trip and we have multiple authorized climbing trip leaders, we will be able to split up and head to different crags. This will give everyone more flexibility and will prevent us from playing capture the crag with others at the Red.

You are responsible for bring your own food or just eating at Miguel’s/other restaurants.

What you need to bring:
-Climbing shoes
-Climbing harness
-Climbing helmet
-Climbing chalk and chalk bag
-Belay device
-Food/money for food
-Water (at least 2 liters)
-Camping gear (sleeping bag/pad, headlamp, etc…)
-Rain gear

What the Club Provides:
-Camping fees
-Gas
-Gear, if you need it (go to a open gear room if you need anything)

Get stoked for four days of sick climbing!
