As some of you may know, I worked for an outdoor teen adventure company this past summer called Wilderness Adventures. It was SOSOSOSOSOSOSO amazing (apologies that was annoying), but in all seriousness everyone should look into working for them. **You do have to be 21 or older this summer to work for them
You get to hang out with middle and/or high schoolers and do cool things outside like rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and backpacking. You basically get paid to have fun!!!
If this sounds at all remotely interesting to you, you’re in luck because their company recruiter is coming to UVA THIS WEEK to give an info session and meet people who are interested in potentially working there this summer. I’ll also be at the event to speak about my experience last summer and meet people who are interested in applying this summer!
This is a summer job that attracts college-aged kids from all over the country who are interested in the outdoors aka some of the coolest people you will ever meet. You can pretty much do all of the fun things we have trips for all summer long (think camping, climbing, kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking, all the fun things)
