Hellow fellow crunchy sugar hollow lovers,
Should we be locked in this week for finals? Yes. Will we be locked in?? No!!! If you would like join us in our not-lock-in-ing (or want a finals study break), come join Eli and I this Thursday on a swimming trip to sugar hollow/blue hole!!! The weather is supposed to be super nice and sunny, around 30ºC/86ºF (yes i use celsius sue me). Eli has been to sugar hollow before (and i have not) but we both love swimming outdoors and we would love it even more if our odc friends joined us! The hike to blue hole should be pretty easy, and the water will be beautiful. We also don’t need any drivers so literally anyone is welcome!!!
The plan:
12:00 pm – meet at echols and depart
12:30 pm – arrive!!! and start hiking the trail to the reservoir
1:00 pm ish – arrive at the reservoir! jump in! swim to our heart’s content!!
3:00 pm ish – climb out of reservoir, walk back to cars
3:30 pm – depart sugar hollow
4:00 pm – back at uva (time to lock back in).
What to bring:
– Swimsuit/clothes you are happy swimming in!
– Dry clothes for the walk/car ride back (not required, but highly recommended by eli)
– water!
– snacks!!! (if u want)
– maybe a bag to carry everything?
