Weekend at the New with Patty & Friends

OVERVIEW

Greetings,

I want to go to the new this weekend. I’m not sure what y’all are down for so let me know in the questionaire and we can make this trip work for everyone! The basic gist is that we’ll be camping at Ray’s Campground and food will be done on an individual basis. I’d recommend food that doesn’t need to be cooked or can be cooked via campfire or jetboil. You should know how to sport climb outside (lead climb & belay, cleaning routes is a plus) and be comfortable climbing 5.10 and up. At the earliest, I’d like to leave Friday morning and at the latest return sunday night, but if the majority of people only want to do a day trip, that is also cool! The weather will determine the crags we go to but I’d like to check out snake buttress at Endless wall, which has two ULTRA CLASSICS (Legacy, 11a & Discombobulated, 11b).

TLDR: the details of the trip will be settled by the answers to the questionaire, so make sure you fill it out and let me know what you want this trip to look like!

You should bring:
Climbing shoes, harness, and helmet
Sleeping bag & pad, tent
Headlamp
Food and water bottle

I will bring:
1 rope per two people signed up
12 draws per two people signed up
Belay devices
