Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Ivy Creek Natural Area
So it’s going to be 73 degrees on Friday, which is cause for THANKS-GIVING (hahaha). I can think of no better way to appreciate the great outdoors than speeding through it like our forefathers did when hunting kudu, so I propose a trail run.
Details
WHERE: Ivy Creek Natural Area
RUNNING DISTANCE: About 4 miles
STUFF TO BRING: Good trail-running shoes if you have them, running clothing, a hydrated body, and 1L of water for after the run.
The trail is a little gnarly at spots and it’s easy to twist an ankle if you’re not careful, so it’s probably a good thing if you’ve run on trails before.
I have a car and can drive four other people, and if we get another driver, we can double it. We can also split into groups for different paces, too.
